We have already begun planing for the 2010 event in Denver Colorado! We have lots of very exciting news coming out soon. Check back here for updates. We are also seeking volunteers. Tournaments
We have had multiple requests to up the teams to 5v5 for CS:S so we will! CS:S will now be 5v5. We will also run most tournaments concurrently so we don't run into the same time restraints we did last year. We are still working on which tournaments we will run but here is a preliminary line up. CS:S, L4D2vs, DotA, CNC4 (if available), Star Craft 2 (if available), TF2, CoD4. Let us know what you want to see by replying here!

What about for tournaments
MW2 or BC2. I reason I say BC2, i am right now renting a BC2 and should have it still in June (I have full admin control of a 16 slot server). Also why not Modern Warfare 1 or 2? And one that would be fun is Halo (I have a CD image, and could learn the dedicated server)

NO MW2 cause they do not support dedicated servers so I will not support them. All servers need to be at the location. I will look into Shattered Horizon. They sent me all the files long ago before they released for testing but the dedicated server was terrible. I hope it is better.
We can run a MW1 tourney but as of right now no sponsors are giving any prizes for it.

Other tournmanets
so TF2 would be a big yes, also MW might be (I am indifferent). Old school halo would be fun as I said before but this one mght be a maybe. I know I suck at it but I like tournmants but what about Unreal? And any quakes? Or serious sam HD? Another fun one (older one) if people have played is Tribes Vengence good old game fun to play online if you can get the numbers. Just rolling off ideas seeing if any click

You can play any game you want there. We can announce any games and see who wants in. As for tournaments though, we can only officially do what sponsors are sponsoring. In between tournaments though we will have games up and running.

Any possible way to let us know what kind of prizes we are looking for.. .I heard last year 100 bucks was to be made... any difference in prizes going up or what kind of things we can be lookin to win ?!?!?

Read the FAQ.
Also, sponsors want a head count months in advanced. They base the prize package on how many people will see their product. If you are not pre registered then the sponsor doesn't know you will be there so they will send less if anything at all. If they see lots of pre reg then they send tons of stuff. Prizes for tournaments are up to the attendees. Anything that sponsors don't send, I buy or pay out of my pocket. If you want a lot of great prizes, you and everyone you know should be pre registered already.
Just as a sneak peak, we do have prizes from SteelSeries, Nvidia, TeamSpeak, FutureMark, Mushkin, Gamer Grub and more.
This entire event is paid for by me just for the fun of it. For the gaming community of Colorado.
