I cannot talk about FPS games without talking about Left 4 Dead. It has become one of my most favorite games ever. The way that is plays, the coop and other modes are just fantastic. The one drawback is that not even a year since its release and they are already release part 2. They better keep content coming out for this. But I am sure L4D2 will be just as bad ass if not more so.

I agree. When they released news of L4D2 I was like "what the hell!" I have only had L4D for a few months. Jhenn loves the game but I told her not to buy it till 2 comes out. For now we just go to http://www.GameOnDenver.com when she wants to play. :)

i also love this game, even better than L4D2! They will continue support for left 4 dead, im replying a little late to the thread --
but i'm sure you've seen the Crash Course add on. And there will also be one more DLC released for the game sometime in the near future.
Steam is always having deals online for part 1, i saw it for 7.99 one time. i still recommend this game for purchase.

The introduction of L4D2 is the reason I am very reluctant to purchase the first one. Although it is a great game just I am not sure if I would play it enough to justify the cost. Perhaps Valve/Steam will have a dual game deal or something.
