Here at FNFF, I have spent the last 8 years developing and purchasing equipment to sustain very large networks. With space always a problem to find for the right price, I thought "why not allow other LANs to use this powerful network I have provisioned?" Now is everyone's opportunity to bring in FNFF to setup and run your next LANs network.

Right now we have the capacity to hold LANs up to 384 gamers in the BYOC and 512 wireless devices. This does not include game servers, files servers and extra network capacity for admins. Not only have I purchased managed switches all around for manageability, but I have configured them for optimal network speed. Below you will see a simple diagram of the equipment we use.

There are 2 gigabit links to each switch. Each switch can hold 64 gamers. There is a 2 gigabit link to the game server and a 4 gigabit link to the file server. Internet traffic is protected by a Linux appliance that filters out spy ware and viruses that may come in or may go out. It also can block any protocol that we choose. It will alert us of anyone trying to abuse the internet and we will be able to find them quickly using the managed switches.
