FAQs

What are the benefits for registering early?

- Not only does registering early allow us to plan ahead for space, power and network configuration it's also cheaper for you and allows us to get better sponsorships. Nearly all sponsors want to know how many people are currently registered. They send bigger and better things when I can tell them we have hundreds of attendees pre reged then when I tell them only a few since they all waited till the last minute. Sponsors need at least 2 months to send good prizes. So if you even want anything good to win, registering early is the only way to do that.

Is there a number I can call to get information?

- You can call our hot-line number at 720-249-2942.

How much for parking?

- Absolutely FREE!

What are the prizes for the tournaments?

- This specific information is not usually posted before an event. We like to keep this to ourselves for as long as possible to detur those who only come for prizes. While we understand that this is important to a lot of you, FNFF.net LAN Events are primarily about "fun" in the tournaments and less about what you will win. We do however post our sponsors. Without them like with out you, this event is not possible. We hope you understand.

What type/Speed network port will I have?

- The FNFF.net network consists of a 2 Gigabit backbone to each table attached to a 64 port 100mb switch delivered to each gamer. 100MB is enough to do that which the LAN is for, gaming. File trading is allowed through DC++ only. We do ask that you not share any thing of adult nature or illegal programs, cracks or pirated software / music.

Will there be an internet connection?

- Yes. We will have 50MBs dedicated internet. MMO ports will be open for the event.

- BYOC stands for Bring Your Own Computer. We have 35,000 square feet of space for you and your friends to play games on our 400 capacity and growing network.

How many computers/Monitors can I bring?

- You can bring one computer with one monitor. If you would like to bring a second monitor or system please contact an FNFF staff member before the event. All extra system requests must be made before the event as the extra systems need to be accounted for during setup.

Can I bring a server?

- Yes. Servers will be setup in the NOC. Your only access to it once it's there is remote. VNC, RDP etc. FNFF.net, The National Western Complex, Vendors, Sponsors or anything of the like are not responsible for your servers in any way shape or form. Please read the disclaimer here.
