DC++ Setup and Usage Instructions
For the FNFF June LAN Event
Before the LAN. If you want to share files, do this at least 1 day before the LAN to give your system time to hash your files!
- After installing and launching DC++ you will see the main window with the System Log, which should be blank.

- From the "File" menu choose "Settings..."

- Under "Personal Information" you need to choose a "Nick". You can also set a "Description" of the files you are sharing if you want.

- Under "Downloads" you can change your download directory (the default is the DC++ program files folder).

- Under "Sharing" you can "Add Folder" until you have all of your folders shared and set the maximum number of available "Upload slots" for others to be able to connect to you.

- Under "Logs" you can set what logs you want DC++ to keep as well as a location to keep them. Then click OK to save your settings.

-
Let DC++ run until all shared files have been hashed!
Once you are at the LAN
- Choose "Quick connect..." from the File menu.

- Enter dcplusplus.fnff.net into the text box and click OK to connect to the official DC++ FNFF server.
